A Little update on my progress here at Career Pilot. I got my instrument rating and my private multi out of the way. I have been trying to time build in the little cessna towards my commercial, but the weather has not want to cooperate with me. I had this great route planned out today, since it was nice and sunny with no clouds to take me all over the city and out into the country around KC, but when i called the airport to see how the runaway was after the snow we got the other day he told me there was ice all over the runway. I decided still being a low time pilot it was not worth the risk of piling up a plane. Hopefully tomorrow will be good and i can spend a long day in the air visiting a few different airports. All and all I have been happy with my decision to come to CPS and i am looking forward to earning my next rating.

Nice decision! I am a rookie pilot who owns a C150. I have 165 hours at the moment and have consistently found the go no decision, or even the decision to turn around in the middle of an XC (done it twice now), to be one of the most difficult aspects of pilotage. Quote:
