Default Career Pilot School VA Program

Has anyone went through the VA program with them?? I really like the way things are looking at CPS, but I am wanting to know some more. i have tried calling them, but I didn't get an answer. Just wanting to see if I can get some feedback from other students or fellow bloggers while I try and get in touch with them. thanks

We are still going through the VA approval process. I will give you a call some time Thursday. I am currently out of the office at the fltops.com event in Chicago.

That's not honest. Do students pay as they go, or do they have to pay up front?

VA students pay as they go, as do most students that do not take out loans. For students taking out loans, the loans are distributed on the loan company's schedule. Students taking courses that are less than 30 days in length typically pay up front. In some cases, alternate arrangements can be made, but it is on an individual basis.

And what isn't honest? What is your name? I have to think this is Tyler posting again under a new name.

And we are approved by the state of Kansas for VA, but we are still waiting for national recognition. It seems to be taking a LONG time.

Nope not me! But since you like to bring me up... Wasn't I supposed to have a standardization flight when I worked there? I taught some students and never had a standardization flight. Is that required under 141?

And yes you do have to pay all your money up front. Don't do it. It will bite you in the butt.

If you do decide to go to CPS make sure you get a breakdown of everything you paid for for and a receipt.

Thank you and goodnight.

How are you doing at FSA? Are you enjoying it down there?

Thanks for asking. It is going good. I have been keeping busy with about six students, and I fly a lot more. FSA is a good place to work. It has great benefits, and lots of good people. I just started working on my MEI in the Seminole. Good airplane.

How is CPS?

Glad you are doing well. A lot of foreign students, I assume?

CPS is good. Busy this month and we are scheduled out pretty far.

Good!

I only have two foreign students, but FSA makes their money with all the airline contracts they have with airlines all over the world. We just got a huge contract with Air China Cargo actually.
