Thanks Pac Man. I think it is important in this day and age for businessmen and women to diversify their business. We will continue to offer the same quality of training and one-on-one, laid back, instruction atmosphere to everyone. But now "everyone" includes the world.

Did SEVIS require you to be 141 to get the approval?

That is nuts! We even need Part 141 Approval for a Multi Engine Add-On! Hence, I started the process to add those airplanes to our 141 program.

It is unbelievable how varied the government can be.

Geez. We could do add-ons part 61 because it was determined by our "inspector" that once they get here they can pretty much do whatever they want.

You still at IXD?

We are still at IXD, though we are opening up a larger office in Liberty, Missouri and will be utilizing the Midwest National Airport as well. The CRJ sim will be up in Liberty.

You have to have a part 141 certificate to get VISAs however you do not have to train the students whom you get VISAs in part 141. You may use part 61. Perhaps they have a part 141 certificate but only rarely send students through that (trying to keep their part 141 pass rate high perhaps?)

At the time of their certification they didn't even have the 141 certificate. Within a few months the FSDO blessed them with their 141 certificate, but not at the time of certification (which, I was told, was the requirement).
