Default Instrument course

Hello,

Quick question regarding the accelerated instrument course. If I bring a plane from my flight club, how many hours should I expect to log during the training? Are all 40 hours flown, or are there a lot of hours done in the simulator?

Mark

I would expect to you to get at least 10 hours of logged sim time, though that varies with each student. You can practice in it all you want during your time with us. We just installed a 430 in our RC-1 which has greatly enhanced it as an instrument trainer.

Are people actually able to get their IFR in 10 days? As well as retain that information in the future?
