Patrick! He must have gone out to celebrate last night. KC Jake would have finished yesterday, but HIS inspector got scared of a couple lightning bolts 25 miles from the field. He will finish next week with a different inspector.

Gentlemen- Thanks for the congratulations, I am now an MEI. I could not believe how smoothly my day went yesterday, which is a testament to how well prepared I was for the ride and the excellence and professionalism the FAA examiner exhibited. Looking to get my CFI and CFII out of the way in the upcoming weeks.

My ride went extremely smooth, I was very pleasantly surprised as you can imagine. We had oral from about 8AM to Noon, took a break for lunch, did some more oral from 1PM to 3PM, then flew for 2 hours. I put considerable effort into being well prepared, and I feel it paid off as I never felt he asked me anything I couldn't answer.
