I am pleased to announce that the FAA has granted Career Pilot School 141 Certification. We are receiving our certificate on Friday and expect to have details on 141 training programs on our website shortly thereafter. The following programs are 141 Certified: Private Pilot (Single Engine Land) Instrument Pilot Commercial Pilot (Single Engine Land) What does this mean to our potential students? Here are some positives of our 141 programs: 1) You can complete an Accelerated 141 Instrument Program without having the requisite 50 hours of cross country PIC required by Part 61. 2) You can go from zero time to Commercial Single Engine Land in as little as 190 hours. (in order to take advantage of receiving your CSEL at 190 hours, you must start at zero time) 3) We are actively seeking the ability to help student utilize their GI Bill or VA Benefits. Feel free to post or PM me with any questions you may have. -Michael

Where in Leawood do you hail? I am just north in PV. I ride my road bike all over Leawood when the weather permits. Lee Blvd's hills are killer! Michael

Congrats on the certification! One other benefit of 141 is that you don't "Fail" check rides/stage checks, they are simply "No-pass" so you aren't required to report it.
