Default Cross Country Multi Engine Adventure

Hello,

I am looking to get my multi engine add on in the next three months and was wondering how much more money it would cost to include the rating into the cross country multi engine adventure course? Is it only the cost the checkride fee? Or would I need to pay for a hotel in Kansas for this time? I was pleased to see this as a new offering on the website and am very interested. So basically, could I pay the 11,495 for about 15 hours locally to do the add on and then fly for 35 more hours on the adventure with an MEI? I appreciate the information! Thanks.

I don't mean to answer out of place, but looking at the website, it says you get 50 hours and a MEI. So, I'd say, yeah, you could do 15 for your rating and adventure the rest.

An MEI to fly WITH you.

There is a choice of getting a rating within the 50 hours.

The only additional cost would be for the checkride. Hotel for each day is included. You would probably complete your ME Add-On within 4-5 days and have the rest of the time to complete the 50 hours. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Yes, you can combine your Multi rating with the Cross Country Adventure. As Michael pointed out, the only additional cost will be the examiner's fee. You will fly with us locally doing your training, take your Multi checkride, and then burn off the remainder of your time going wherever you want to go. The cost of housing is a constant.

Let us know if you have any further questions, or PM to discuss scheduling options.

Just got done with a time builder flying across the US- Colorado, Florida, and New York (and obviously states in beteen) which was a great experience for the student. This is really a tremendous learning experience for anyone to get time flying in dramatically different conditions and airspace.

We look forward to making trips like this with more of you guys!

Patrick

I have a couple of questions about the career pilot program.

Does the students fly the 75 hour time build with another student or with an instructor?

Are hotels included when you are flying off that x-country time?

During the Career Pilot Program the time the student flies is with an instructor. The Adventure program is separate from the Career Program. The Adventure does include the cost of hotels in its price.

If a student is enrolled in the Career program, and wants to make some of his Multi time building real cross country, we are always happy to work with him to make that happen.
