The more things change.....

Posted August 6th, 2009 at 11:59 by jcpilot

Well, I'm settled in my new interim job at Lowe's while I wait for my FOL. This store is quite a bit different than my last one. That's too be expected, I suppose.

Nothing new on the ATC front. I did e-mail my HR rep to update my address with him, but got the 'out of office' autoreply e-mail....

August 4 2009 flight

Posted August 5th, 2009 at 19:36 by CcrlR737AMT

The clouds were at 12,500ft and the winds were calm at first. We could not go to our training area due to storms south near IKK, and lightning distant from the South and Southwest of the airport, but we decided to go with the traffic patterns around the airport.

It went well after the second takeoff...

Some people from Pubnat 5/6 have started getting notices that they need 'further evaluation' based on their MMPI scores. I've...

july 28 flight

Posted July 28th, 2009 at 22:25 by CcrlR737AMT

I flew last week, but was not able to post, so don't worry about it. I just practiced stalls and slow flight.

Today was a good day to fly with scattered clouds at 2,700 feet with some breaks higher for what we were going to do today. I had a chance to go over the stalls before the flight and we went over what were going to do today. We flew to the south and practiced slow flight and then stalls. I did the power-off stall until I remembered the procedure in my head. What I have to remember...
