Nobody (at least non-officers) even knew about it until the FastRead email came out a day or two before the vote. Fortunately it didn't

More traffic patterns.

Posted July 1st, 2009 at 01:51 by CcrlR737AMT

Today was a cloudy day and luckily, It was not as bad as the one where I was going to fly, but could not. The clouds were scattered at 2900ft, 3400ft, and a ceiling of 5000ft overcast. We went over what we were going to do in the pattern and I put it to good use. Unfortunately I still need to work on trimming out the plane and we had a crosswind which made one takeoff a little tough. It was a good day and was worthwhile for traffic pattern work. When I have a good day next time, I will get another...

Posted June 19th, 2009 at 18:46 by Turpial

I was looking at your website and the Acelerated Pilot Program only includes
30 hours of MEL instead 100 hours as you offer in March. Why did it change?

June 13 2009 flight

Posted June 14th, 2009 at 01:37 by CcrlR737AMT

Rain mostly kept me waiting for my flight in the late afternoon since we could not do our Young Eagles rally because of the rain.

After the rain let up, it was time to go for my flight since it was still on. We did traffic patterns and I tried to get the procedure going with some problems(Practice makes perfect-I need to get back in the cockpit some more). It was a little hard since the 172 we were using had a different flap lever which you had to hold down to put a notch of flaps...
