Today was a cloudy day and luckily, It was not as bad as the one where I was going to fly, but could not. The clouds were scattered at 2900ft, 3400ft, and a ceiling of 5000ft overcast. We went over what we were going to do in the pattern and I put it to good use. Unfortunately I still need to work on trimming out the plane and we had a crosswind which made one takeoff a little tough. It was a good day and was worthwhile for traffic pattern work. I had a chance today with a sunny day in store with hot weather for flying. My preflght was careful since the plane was very hot and I was doing my best to avoid getting burned by the hot plane in the 90 degree weather. That did not stop us from flying today.

Rain mostly kept me waiting for my flight in the late afternoon since we could not do our Young Eagles rally because of the rain.
