I have to say I'm impressed with how well the content is delivered (even if the videos are from 1985). The instructors are nice and always willing to share stories from their experiences either at the Academy or from facilities they have...

I must say that today was great, but tiring and a bit boring at times.

The day began for me at just after 5:30am. Quick shower, breakfast, and then I was on my way to the MMAC. I arrived at about 6:30am and was greeted with a metal detector in the SCC (Security Command Center). Eric and I got the opportunity to hit up a local golf course called Earlywine. We played the North course today with temperatures never dropping below 100 while we were on the course. Overall it was a fun course to play. The overall condition of the course was immaculate, especially for the price! For a round of 18 holes, a bucket...

OKC Day 1: Move-in

Updated July 18th, 2009 at 00:43 by swinte00

Got an early start this morning and hit the road to my new home (for the next three months at least) in Oklahoma City. I've got a few pics of the apartment which is currently unfurnished which are below. Picked up a few groceries and drove around to get a bit of a feel for the area. It's HOT here--105 degrees was the high today. I also got the opportunity to eat a late lunch at an Italian restaurant in Bricktown called Zios with a few friends. The food was pretty good, the service was excellent,...
