I'm sorry for calling you a clown. I just disagree with your logic. Getting all three under ALPA is a huge win for our profession.

Skywest guys need to see the benefits of ALPA.

Questions about a career in aviation

Posted July 30th, 2010 at 15:43 by JD1020

Hi everyone I am new to this site and was hoping I could get a few answers about a career in aviation. I am looking into going to school to become and airplane mechanic but I have a few DUI 's, it has been 4 years since I received the last one, I was hoping to find out if this would keep me from being able to find employment when I finished school, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

A little update

Posted July 20th, 2010 at 18:24 by CcrlR737AMT

I just wanted to have a little update about me. I have a new job with a regional airline and going through the beginning steps with them. I will get back into training soon, just getting situated with the new job and planning time around it. The nice thing about there is that several co-workers are pilots too. I haven't found any CFI's, but it is fun to talk to them about flying when there is some down time. I have been in touch with my CFI from my training and will go back soon.

Brief at 0930

Plyometrics
Off at 1800...

drudgery.

Fortunately the people in this business are very nice and funny, otherwise all the waiting would make you crazy.
