so, this is pretty much my story as it plays out on a trip that i am taking up here to the biggest state in the union...
day one: Arrive Anchorage. Ive got a bag full of resumes and one interview on schedule, going to be staying with a fellow jc'er who is kind enough to let me sleep on his couch. Its beautiful up here and the days are already the longest Ive ever seen, outgoing people, good times. Planes everywhere, Anchorage airport and the neighboring airport has more planes just parked on the outskirts than i have ever seen in one place, ever. Awesome, im exited.
day two: the interview goes, nowhere. after an hour with a panel of four, i get a 'good luck' and thats about it from that company, but well see. I walk across the street.. go for a check flight out to a gravel airstrip and get offered a job as the overflow pilot/ office monkey. Sweet, but I dont know if I can handle anything less than a lot of flying, I continue the search with something in my back pocket. Here we go.
