Default Blocked Tear Duct Surgery (ATC)

Hi Doc,

I'm having blocked tear duct surgery this week (DCR or Endoscopic Dacryocystorhinostomy surgery). My Doc said it wouldn't effect my eye sight and shouldn't effect my flight status as an air traffic controller.

So I just wanted a second opinion from you on whether or not there is any concern here or if I should even tell my nurse at the facility. Other's I work with have said that just noting the surgery at my next flight physical should be adequate. Your opinion would be helpful, thanks!

Just report it. It will not be an issue but you need the doc's approval to go back to work.
