Two quick questions: I finally received my unrestricted 3rd class medical yesterday after about a 95 days. If I want to upgrade to a 1st or second class medical, could I take my results to the ame and have a new physical done sense the Farnsworth results are current? This is unrelated but my last blood test showed I have high cholesterol, my fathers side has a history of this. I have been taking niacin because of this, but every once in awhile I'll have bad effects-flushing, burning etc...Anything I can take with it to stop the negative effects, I've heard the no-flush niacin is not very effective? Thanks |

1) If you go to the same AME he will probably issue you a 2nd class.Ask him first though. 2) Take an aspirin 1 hour before the niacin. |
