| Re: Ohio Positions Thats funny! I've been I pilot now for about 5 years, most of my flying here in south florida consists of Miami, Lauderdale and W. Palm area. I lived in nw Ohio for about 22 years. Hopefully I will be able to relate to what your saying in the tower or center because I feel your pain. However I can tell you down here, or anywhere for that matter, I've seen my fair share of low time pilot's (CFI's and double I's also) that have scared me much more than any new controller. You know what I'm talking about! What I'm saying is, I can't speak for everyone, but I don't think you will have to worry about me as much..... hopefully. |

| Re: Ohio Positions That's funny. When I was taking CTI classes, at the Kendall-Tamiami airport, in Miami, between August-December of last year, there were no less than 2 pilot in training crashes, while I was there. One of them had mistaken the canal that runs adjacent to the school as a runway, and the other had crashed into an empty field, on property. That was just in the few short months that I was at the school, and that I can easily recollect. So, fear not the controller, but rather the pilot in training......:-) |

| Re: Ohio Positions I'm an Ohio applicant who also received the referral on 3/31/08, I was called today to verify that I was still interested in Ohio because I live in CA. My app is being reviewed today. I was informed if I was selected I should receive notice for an interview in 1 week. Oh..and 727 is correct its for the ARTCC in Cleveland. Hope this helps with timelines.

| Re: Ohio Positions I'm not sure, she stated it was in regard to Ohio but didn't state where she was calling from. I did a search on the number that called me and it was an (817) area code, which is TX so now I'm definitely confused. Sorry, not sure that helps.

| Re: Ohio Positions Anyone else hear anything about Ohio? I know somebody mentioned that they called from TX asking if still interested. I think they are starting to send interview invitations next week. |
