Did you attend a PEPC or did you do everything, individually? When did you receive your final offer? I'm trying to guage, as best I can, when my class date will be. I have so.........much stuff to do, in preperation of my class date, and my relocation. | |

The HR person named Richard who gave out tentatives at the MIA PEPC said that the earliest I could go would be end of May or beginning of June. I think that was for at-basics. He said all the classes up through May are filled up. | |

Try to get to Area E if at all possible. Best area at ZBW to work. Most of the traffic is/was into/out of LGA/EWR/JFK and NY metro airports. Will teach you a lot about ATC.

The announcement I applied for closed on 05/02/07. I didn't hear anything until late Sept '07 to take the AT-SAT in Oct '07. I was offered ZBW or PWM Tower in Dec. I chose ZBW. I attended the NY PEPC in Jan '08 and received a final offer in mid-March for an April 1st class. By the way I'm an OTS. | |

They gave me ZBW. Would have loved to go to PWM  , but you'll like ZBW. Remember AREA E

Yes, but I applied in August 2007 (to one state: SC) and I think I'm getting pushed into the February 2008 announcement group because I just took the test early March and haven't gotten a referral yet. Ugh. I heard new referrals are coming out early May once everyone has tested and also geographic location prefs too.

Scheduled for Denver en-route. Don't know if that means the ARTCC or the TRACON. Applied last year for Denver, KC, DFW, ZLA. Took the ATSAT in Denver Jan. 22nd (Well Qualified), scheduled for the FTW PEPC the end of this month. Good luck, everybody. |
