Any ideas?!?!?!?

Ok........So I have recieved an invitation to attend the PEPC in Atlanta because they say I am eing considered for a terminal position in MI. I also got a call from Terri Owens on Friday confirming April 10th. However, I now check the ASAP website and it reads:

"Referral list FA-AAC-08-10094: Issued on 01/02/2008 for the Throughout Michigan duty location at the FG-1 grade/payband. Another candidate has been selected for announcement # AAC-AMH-07-PUBMI-06067 for which you applied. We appreciate your interest in employment with the Federal Aviation Administration. Please continue to check the website for vacancies of interest to you.”

So needless to say I am EXTREMELY CONFUSED

Has anyone else seen this situation?

I was notified about the PEPC through email. I just happen to check ASAP and saw the other. I just wonder if they really know what they are doing.

Mine says the same for the announcement I was hired on. You are getting an interview, take it. If you don't like what they give you, turn it down. At least you'll have your interview and other stuff taken care of.

Maybe they just decided you were the one without even an interview Unless they call and cancel the interview with you...don't stress it. It could be they put that up cause they have a lot of people that are calling and bugging them. They are doing first and second round hires and they don't want phone calls getting bugged about it! Congrats on the contact for interview..WTG!
