| Interview Offer I just got an interview offer, a couple of minutes ago, via email. It didn't state, which state it was for, but it did state that it was for a terminal position. Brenda Roberts was the contact, and I plan on calling her back later today, to see which state the interview is for. I applied OTS, and wasn't expecting to hear anything for at least a couple of weeks! I'm excited to say the least!!!!!!! |

| Re: Interview Offer Around June, of last year, I applied to: Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, Montana, and Wyoming. In August my ASAP page stated that I would be contact for an interview in a couple of weeks. Finally, in December 2007 I was given a test date, on January 7th I tested (97.1), I was referred to Iowa on January 11th, and to to Nebraska in February. I heard that Iowa did there first round of interviews on February 6th, which I didn't get, but that the selection committee was meeting for both states (Iowa again), yesterday. That leads me up to this morning when I received an email denoting that I have been chosed to interview for a terminal position. I don't know which terminal it's for, at this point, but I'm psyched, regardless! |

| Re: Interview Offer Thanks! Brenda, in OKC, just emailed me back and stated that the position is for Iowa, but couldn't give me a location, within Iowa, because it is subject to change, based off of my interview. I am really hoping for Des Moines, but will go anywhere that they'll have me. Now I'm working on getting setup for a PEPC that's half-way close to home (Florida). Is there anyone else out there being interviewed for Iowa??? |

| Re: Interview Offer congrats codwell! i am really excited about iowa. i tested in des moines, and really liked the area (i am married with 2 young children and it seems to be a nice wholesome place to raise them). my parents really wanted me to get nebraska, though, just because it would be closer to them. right now i'm 24 hours away from the rest of my family, so a 6 hour drive from iowa will be nothing compared to that! good luck on your interview and keep me posted. |

| Re: Interview Offer I'm actually a girl, ha ha. But, yes they did. I called OKC and requested to be put on the list for the Miami PEPC, which is on March 17th. It doesn't give me a whole lot of time to get all of my info together, but it's only 3 hours from my house, and not too bad of a drive. The lady that I spoke with (Claudia) was very nice, and ensured me that I was on the list and that I would be getting all of the required paperwork within the next couple of days. |

| Re: Interview Offer I got an email today on the Iowa listing. I read your email and it sounds like my situation to the T. I just hope maybe I can change states. Iowa would be okay, but I have a house in Michigan that I will have to sell. We don't stand a chance if we have to do this quickly!!
I was starting to get depressed after having taking the test because I didn't hear anything right after they met at the beginning of February.
Talk about good day/bad day: I also found out my Grandma died today 15 minutes after I walked out of her hospital room. They had given her a couple of week and BAM. Crazy days man |

| Re: Interview Offer I have a house, in Florida, that we're going to have to look at renting out. We owe more on it, than it's currently worth, so we'll have to rent it out until we can pay down the mortgage enough to sell it. I'm just hoping to find a nice, but cheap, place to rent, in Iowa, until we can sell our home. I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother; I've been there, not too long ago. |

| Re: Interview Offer hey I called zoey today and she got me into the PEPC MIA. Thanks ajcowing for the information. I have had buddies who had to wait 1 or 2 months in between the interview and the medical and then another few months in between the med and the psych. Looks like our process is moving. I'm psyched!!!We could be going to OKC as early as april!!It seems like with the FAA, "the sqeaky wheel gets the grease." I know CTI's who have been waiting around two yrs to get selected for an interview. All OTS's keep that in mind while in the process. Good luck!! See you in MIA. |

| Re: Interview Offer The only email that I received was the one denoting that I had been selected to interview. I called OKC and requested to be added to the Miami PEPC list, and the lady that I spoke with, denoted that she personally took it upon herself to add me to the list, and that I should receive an email with more paperwork and instructions within the next few days, and if I don't receive it to call her back. |

| Re: Interview Offer After speaking with Zoey, she sent me the email inviting me to the PEPC. You just have to confirm you are able to attend via an email response. It said in the email that over the next week we will recieve an email with information about all the paperwork that will be needed at the PEPC. I am scheduled for the 20th. Codwell give Zoey a call and tell her that you would "really" like to be added to the MIA PEPC. I know there were only a few spots left as of yesterday. She seems very nice and willing to work with you. It says on the email that you need to respond by Feb 1 so I guess we were lucky to get in. This is what the email looks like. Terminal invitation for Miami Name: Address: Home phone: Work phone: Cell phone: Email: Congratulations. You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position at a terminal in New York. We are inviting you to come to an ATCS Pre-Employment Processing Center (PEPC) which will be held at the Miami ARTCC in Miami, Florida, on March 18, 19 or 20, 2008. This is a new expedited method of processing and will include your interview, a security screening, medical evaluation, psychological evaluation, and drug testing. In addition, if you are tentatively selected, you will receive a Tentative Offer Letter providing specific information on your facility assignment, salary, etc. All of these activities will take place during one day, starting at 7:30 am. Please be prepared for an all-day event. You will need to make advanced arrangements should you require overnight lodging. All travel costs incurred will be at your expense. We will provide detailed information including forms that must be completed prior to your arrival once you have confirmed that you will attend. This is what you need to do: · Respond to this email or call Zoey Lenker at 405-798-2014 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Central Time. · Tell us if you are going to be able to attend and, if so, which day you prefer: March 18, 19, 20. · Respond as quickly as you can but no later than February 1. · Check the contact information above and provide any corrections. Thanks! We hope you can attend and look forward to meeting and assisting you in Miami. |

| Re: Interview Offer You have to be a freakin' detective to get answers from FAA! lol
I just called a nice lady named Judy in OKC, who's having someone hit me up on Monday to let me know exactly where the hell I'm supposed to be.
If someone doens't know anything, have them transfer you to someone that does.... |
