| Locality Pay? Ok, so in the ASAP site, I found the Locality Pay Table.
Does this percentage indicate the percentage of your "Base Pay" that you receive, or is it a percentage of something else?
Also, is THIS the base pay?
From what I gather, an academy grad (AG) stationed at Seattle (22%) would get:
Base: $33,100
Locality: $ 7,282
COLA: ?
_____________
$40,382+COLA
Am I close? I just want to fully understand the crap I'm getting myself into

| Re: Locality Pay? From what I know, you would get the base plus locality. COLA is for Alaska and Hawaii where they do not get locality. The difference is that locality pay counts toward your pention but COLA does not. Again, this is how I understand it. I just got a tentative offer for Hawaii and it included COLA of 25% but no locality. |

Also, I'm trying to get AVL TWR, if I did, would that be included in a locality "region," or are those locations specific, and all near-by tower locations considered "other?"
Like, would FFZ or SDL be under PHX locality?

| Re: Locality Pay? Your example is correct.
Not sure about AVL, looks like it might fall under "Rest of U.S." which is 13.18%. That's just my guess since I couldn't find my facility area on it and sure enough Don't know much about NC either. If it is, you would then need to find what level facility AVL is to find overall pay. |

Also includes locality for it, so AVL is 13.18%. |
