| Newbie Trying To Become An Atc Hello All,
I was wondering how long does it take to complete the total process for becoming an ATC.
1. Applied to Atlanta June 2007
2. Contact to take test August 2007
3. Administered test January 5, 2008(Atlanta)
4. Received results January 9, 2008 (87.2)
5. Included on the Referral List January 25, 2008.
What is the time table to wait to be contacted for an interview?
How long after the interview will a decision be made by the FAA to hire?
How long after a decision is made for training to begin in OKC?
Is there anyone else out here that took the test in Atlanta? If so, where do you currently stand in the process?
Thanks,
The Newbie!!! |

| Re: Newbie Trying To Become An Atc Whats up newbie! I think I was at that test with you in ATL. I'm at the same place though, just waiting.
If you check your old applications on ASAP, you'll see that you may have been referred for some other spots too...
...but as a brother...I don't see myself really doing Iowa. |

| Re: Newbie Trying To Become An Atc I only applied to Atlanta and Charlotte so that's probably why I didn't here from anywhere else. I really don't care to go anywhere else. |

Wow!
I guess I need to sit back and play the waiting game I guess. Does the FAA realize they lose more people waiting on them..... |
