Unfortunately, that would be a no for you with the FAA. Maybe a contract tower in the United States, but I think they require citizenship here as well.

I think they are privatized... I know Airways New Zealand is the private firm that runs ATC in New Zealand. Not sure about Australia...

Google Airways New Zealand and start there.

If you'd like to come to Canada, we are hiring.

Has anyone ever done the CTI route here in the States and then gone up to Canada right away? Is it even possible for a CTI student to go to a facility without doing the NavCanada courses?
Just something that I'm curious about.

I used to be a controller for some of the contractors here in the US before I went to DOD and you will need to have at least, what is call here, a "Green Card" I don't know if you are familiar with that term, but it is basically a residence card that will allow you to live and work in the US legally..you can checkout Serco, Robinson Aviation (RVA) and Midwest ATC here in the US..I know Serco has some ATC contracts in the Uk..

You could also try KBR (Kellog Brown & Root), that is who I am working for.

I tried to get an ATC job in AU, but I had to be an native AU to work for Air Services AU.
