|  New People So what's up with all you new people on Jetcareers? The ATC forum used to be pretty slow and then WHAM!! all of a sudden there is like 10 new people waiting to be hired. Was there a Jetcareers.com advertisement somewhere you saw or what? Just an observation is all. KEEP IT UP!!!

| Re: New People Same as others! Been in applying/hiring process since 6/07 and have had nothing better to do than research air traffic control. I have found some great info with a great deal of it coming from jetcareers> Ask An Air Traffic Controller! Thanks to all who have helped me gather information about this great career. |

| Re: New People Google. I chose the military route to get my ATC training because I hated going to college and I let Uncle Sam pay me to get trained in ATC. Had to wait 6 years because when I joined in 2001, I would have had to wait over a year to get a class date for ATC, so I just chose another job. Did my active duty tour, joined the Air National Guard and switched to ATC. I just got a tenative offer for Indy Enroute Center. Never had to take the AT-SAT, and I've only been applying for jobs since November. I feel bad for all you guys having so much college debt and having to wait around forever!!  |
