Default the process

hello all, I was wondering if any of you guys could tell me the process that military controllers have to go through in order to get into the FAA. I know we have to wait till we are on terminal leave or ETS'd already before we can drop our application. Anymore than that and I'm in the dark.

Also I was wondering on the timeframe involved. For example, normally if/when you get picked up do you have to wait eg:6 months for the process till your employed?

Any tips for success would also be greatly appriciated.

Anyways thank you ahead of time for any insight guys.

Hunt down some of my posts....

I applied at the FAA ASAP site https://jobs01.faa.gov/asap/ about 6 months prior to my eas.

Make sure to apply to the terminal and center job listings during every "open" period. They are usually around the first and second job announcements listed on the applications page.

If you would like more assistance pm me.

What is the difference between first, second and third class certificates? I mean what restriction do some have that the others don't?
