| Long time lurker, first time poster I finally received my letter today for a tentative offer of employment. Here's my problem I have a juvenile record,an arrest when I was 15. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got busted for trespassing. Felony. 1. Should this be disclosed 2. Is this going to disqualify me 3. I'm 24, which made this 9 years ago. #2 I have a driving record that makes mario andretti look like a grandma. I know some people responded to the guy on another thread saying your driving record was not real important. But I can't remember all the fines and dates. (there are like 10) #3 My credit score is like 500 with 1 repo. #4 I can't remember all of my employers Am I totally screwed? |

| Air Traffic Controller | Be as honest as you can because this is no silly little background check. I'm not sure of the specifics, but do the best you can. Put down whatever you can remember.

| I would suggest getting a copy of your driving record to get the dates you need. Some states have it online for a small fee. As for credit, I heard it would be a problem if it was bad, but I don't know for sure. Just make sure you are as honest as possible because if you try to cover up something and they find it, then your screwed. For your employment put as much as you can remember and then for the dates if your not sure put an estimate. For example, est. 11/03- est. 03/04 |

| Junior Member | For your driving record yes get a copy and use the correct dates. Call the police to find out how to obtain a copy. For your credit, don't worry TRUST ME!! For the juvenile record it shouldn't exist anymore. Anything that happens as a minor is locked. Thats what a cop buddy of mine told me. Again call the police dept. and ask them the question.
