| I have been looking at some ATC schools and have been told by several schools that since I am 45 i won't get hired for an ATC position. Is this the standard in the industry? I thought age discrimination was against the law? |

| I don't know the specific age cutoff for ATC but I do know there are many other positions with similiar cutoffs: FBI, many fire departments, etc. Sucks but is definitely legal. |

| I have 16 years experience in dispatching in the military, I just retired and was thinking of ATC thats why I was wondering about the age cutoff. I am 45 |
