Default ATSAT score

Does anyone know where they post the scores?? I took the test over 2 months ago, but never got my scores. Do they post them somewhere, or do I just have to call someone to get them???

Thanks for the help

Go on the same system on the FAA webiste (where you sent in your intial application), it will show on the first page.
I took the test a week ago today and by Sunday they had my score on there.
They also mentioned at the test we would receive paper notification in the mail within 7 Biz days.

Yeah, I finally found them there. I was told as well that they would be mailed to me. So does anyone know what happens next?? Do we just sit around waiting or continue to apply online for more positions?? I mean, there aren't any right now... but... yeah...

You're right on the sitting around part, but you're waiting for a referral from a station which will bring you to the interview portion of the game. If you already have the openings applied to that you want, nothing more for you to do but wait. You can apply for more openings if there are any and you wish to, but it's not necessary to continue on to the next step.

If you want to see if the referral list has been released and your on it, go to ASAP and check the status of your application. If you get referred it will eventually tell you there. Then you wait for an email stating you'll get an interview. After that, you wait on a phone call for an interview. Then you interview.

I'll tell you more if my interview was successful.

Took the ATSAT on 09-20, got my score on 09-25. This morning checked ASAP and noticed under the referral status it said that I may or may not be contacted for an interview. It seems like they are are stepping up the pace on contacting everyone. Anyone notice their referral status yet? In the meantime.....................wait..............wai t...............wait.

Charlee,
I got the same message this morning. Was it a referral for Hawaii? I took my ATSAT on 9/17 and got the score 9/19. I wonder how long this will take.

ZEKE,
Yes. It was a referral for Hawaii. I really don't know how long it will take but I've been following the other peoples timelines and it's not totally consistant. Just seems like it's pretty much a WAITING GAME from here and hoping (fingers crossed) you get picked for an interview.

I was a referral for the SF Bay Area, they also said I may or may not be contacted for an interview.
I take medicine for high blood pressure, so I think I am sunk either way when I get to the medical.

I was just reading the FAA qualifications and requirements and the following is what is listed as far as high blood pressure is concerned. It just says a special review is required. Hope that helps.....................

Cardiovascular Standards - Applicants must have no medical history of any form of heart disease. A history of high blood pressure requiring medication will require special review.

It seems the referrals must be coming in record numbers. I applied for pretty much any opening in CA, and every city now has a referral. This seems to be going quite quickly. I've been out of town and they all seem to have come on 26sep, so if CA is somewhere you've applied, better check if you haven't already.

If you get ZOA; just say no! I've been doing the math, and by my estimate 80% quit on their own initative or some get a miracle transferr. The rest about 2% may finish training to become FPL's. SO for every 1000 traines they might end up with 20 or so in 3-5 years time. Rest assured that is a kind estimate.

By referrals, means that your ap has/will be sent to the station for review. "You may or may not be contacted for an interview", is how it is worded on ASAP.

Yep and I have a tentative offer, just waiting on a final offer.

Many haven't even been able to take the AT-SAT yet. Everything takes time. You should get a email then a call(unless you only applied for one area and they don't need many people [which is rare from my understanding]). You can check ASAP to see if a referral list has been published for your announcement.

Everyone is mentioning the referral email. I received like 20 of those emails. I sent in the fax, stating which areas were still of interest to me on November 23. I still haven't received a call for an interview.

Is it typical to wait so long for an interview after the referral email?

Default 2 questions

1) What's the time estimate on how long they take to make a referral list once testing has been completed? I got my score on Dec 11th...

2) Does anyone know what the basis is for the 'qualified' versus 'well qualified' category that you get put into based on your score on the AT-SAT? Trying to figure out how my score would rank me. Is it based on a standard score or do they take the top percentage of people from the testing period?

Mycena:

I took the test in Daytona Beach on Oct. 4th. I rcvd my results on Oct. 11th (I never actually received anything-I saw the results when I logged into the FAA website). On Nov. 9th I began receiving emails asking if I was still interested in the specific location. I received many of those emails over the next week. I had to return the signed acceptance by fax before November 23rd. Now I'm waiting.

I did call the info line listed in the email yesterday. I was told that the hiring committee left that area on Dec. 7th, and that they have 60 days from that date to offer me an interview. Since my 31st birthday is on Jan. 14th, I'm not hopeful.

FYI: you have to score a 70 or above to pass the ATSAT.

Below 70%= Fail
70%-84.99%= Qualified
85% and above= Well Qualified

Sweet! Any idea how they actually make decisions for those that get interviews. Is it based off of experience, AT-SAT scores or a combo? I have ZERO experience in the field but it looks like my score wasn't so bad ;-) Do they really use the qualified vs. well qualified categories for anything?

Do they have to actually hire you before your 31st or is it the application deadline date? I thought I remembered reading the stipulation in the job posting but I have forgotten the rule.

I'm pretty sure that you must be appointed by your 31st birthday. I believe that means you must have received at least a tentative offer.
