Default Scheduled/Waiting to be scheduled for AT-SAT

Anyone else out there waiting to be scheduled for the AT-SAT in Houston? I have not heard anything in so long, and I am just trying to see if I am alone or not.

Don't know if this helps you much, but I have not heard of Houston coming up soon for testing. I took mine out in CA a week ago. I was approved on 6/15 to take the test on a bid that closed 4/2 (or there about), heard from RVA 8/10 for tentative sked of test, and then firm date on 8/25 for testing on 9/17. Maybe gives you an idea of current time line they are working on. I also heard from others that mine did happen a little quicker than others and that I did have more notice than others, so who knows? I also got my test results in 2 days instead of the normal 7-10 business days, so maybe things are picking up pace.

I know that RVA is behind on sked tests and doing their best to get on top of things. I guess that the FAA did not give them any names for like 2 months or so and then recently dropped a ton of names on them, so they are working them as quickly as they can.

Hey,

That does help. So, do they rotate around the country to different test sites or something?

Yes, it is kind of like a rotation for RVA. Used to be when the FAA did the testing themselves they had set cities/facilities for the testing. Now RVA travels and sets up temp testing facilities at different places, generally for a 1 -2 week time period depending on the number of people they are testing. When I took mine, they had been testing the week before and the whole rest of the week with up to 10 people testing a day.
