| Senior Member | A guy from my ATC class got sent there as his first facility. Also, our old Supervisor from ACK just recently transfered up there. If you want, I can get you in touch with them.

| Old Skool | Ahh, no you meathead who wants be an airline pilot. I am going on a tour there in a few weeks and wanted to know if there are some goodies the controllers want, such as pizza, dunkin donuts coffee and donuts, etc. Go outside and play with a scorpion.

| I do not work at BOS but I think it is very nice that you are looking to bring something for the controllers. It is not required but it will be much appreciated by them considering we cannot leave the facility anymore for food. Go with something simple like doughnuts and maybe a box of joe. Sugar and caffeine ... how can you go wrong. |

That is ridiculous. A new reg? You guys really do an awesome job. PS-To know how much to bring, about how many people would be working a tower facility like that during the afternoon rush?

| Part of the September 3rd 2006 IWR's controllers were banned from leaving the facility at any time unless we are on approved leave. If the facility is an up/down (tower and tracon) figure they have at least 16 controllers on. Keep in mind there are other people there like AF, etc. Don't go crazy... it is an extremely nice gesture for you to do, 2 dozen or so should have you covered. Enjoy the trip. |
