| I agree... dealing with management, they are just some of the biggest collection of zero do nothings that couldn't do that I have ever encountered in my life. If my job was only come to work, put on headset and work it would be such a pleasure. Dealing with pilots everyday is a breeze because they are pros doing a tough job like me. It's the tools wearing the ties that make the job suck. In a typical 8 hour shift where I work you spend at least 4 hours battling with those fools... |

| I would 100% agree with the managment issue. My biggest complaint is safety related issues they won't publish a procedure for and not being able to put a foot down on another centre when they don't follow unit agreements. Aside from that, as far as I can tell we have it a lot easier in that department than my American counterparts lately, or so it seems from the outside. Two other minor issues: 1.) When controllers sluff work onto you (eg. "Oh yea Continental climbed there to 380, but there's traffic for him later, I guess you'll just dump him?" 2.)Pilots that don't pay attention to the radio, there seems to be corporate culture at play here as some airlines are markedly worse than others, not every pilot of course, but some definate trends. |
