Default FAA now hiring off the street.

Yup, means no CTI, no prior ATC experience. . .have a little bit of PRS (Pretty radar syndrome)? Want to play a video game for a living? ( ). Knock yourself out.

Just make sure you apply to one of the openings where the Area of Consideration is: All Sources. Also note the close date for many of them, end of this month, and the 2nd of May.

http://jobs.faa.gov/Allfaajobs.htm

Use Job code 2152.

Knock yourselves out.

What kind of color vision test do they utilize - I passed a signal light gun test for my medical, but couldn't read the standard plates. Do they have any alternate tests?

wow...wonder what shifts/hours you would work as an entry-level...if it were possible to do block schedules or night/weekend shifts, it would be a great full-time job to blend flight training with--your radio procedures would be second to none.

This is a job opening for an Air Traffic Control Specialist, that means full time lifelong job type of career. I wouldn't get into this unless you're SURE it's what you want to do.

This isn't the best job to blend with flight training.

Is an Air Traffic Control Specialist different from a "controller?"
