| Greetings, First post, My airline asked me to read a book about ATC as one of their requirements, can someone please tell me a name of a good general book that would be good for pilot knowledge or general knowledge? Thanks in advance .. |

| Senior Member | The AIM would work. If you really want to dig deep, you could go with the air traffic "rulebook," FAAO 7110.65. Or if you're looking for something a little more easy to understand, try the Fundamentals of Air Traffic Control by Michael S. Nolan.

| Hey guys, thanks for the replies, I might go for the Fundementals book if no one suggested anything better. And for the first post, AIM is common knowledge, I think the airlines want me to have further knowledge of ATC and that's why specifically mentioned that I should read books on ATC, thanks for trying to help though. |
