| Congrats on passing your PV! Hopefully OJT will be better than your experience here in OKC. I PV in 4 weeks for ZJX. It's no different in enroute classes...we're getting blasted left and right, but I always say, if it doesn't kill you it'll make you stronger. |

| Senior Member | Thanks everyone!!! I really appreciate your support through all of this. Training was uber-difficult; with good reason too. Apparently, OJT is world's different than the academy. I can't wait to start! I'm ready for the challenge. I've been fielding calls from my classmates all day today. I didn't realize how much they cared and how much everyone wanted me to succeed. I am still really touched about that.

| Awesome! I took a small NAS/ATC class here that went over the basics and I must say that is an amazing feat that anyone can do that job. Good Luck with the rest of your career when you make it to your assigned post ![]()

| That "Aero Center" screening program may very well be why I'm not a controller today, vs being a UPS 757/767 Capt.

| Senior Member | I am humbled and touched by your support! I didn't realize I touched someone out there in cyberspace. I guess Jetcareers really is a close-knit community. Anyways, I have left the ATC field to those more apt to the position. After waking up each morning dreading coming to work for fear I would screw something up and really wishing I was up in a 402, I left for Cape Air. I really took ATC for the money and benefits, which are outstanding by the way. While some people gripe the pay is low for the position, I didn't really mind it because I had been making instructor pay for the past 2 years. After this past June, I decided to jump back over to the flying side. I sent out resumes to several flight schools and airlines. Since Cape Air has always been where I've wanted to end up, I took a pilot position with them. Currently, I am in training for Cape Air and I have never had training as intense as this. However, I do find it enjoyable. Now that we're out of the sims and into the airplanes I find it really fun. I can't dream of being any place else! By the way, a fellow jetcareer member is taking my place! How's that for small world? His name is RABIRZA69.
