Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew information about touring a center facility. I'm a CFI and chair of my 99s chapter, and was really hoping to arrange a tour of ZKC for our next meeting. We toured the facility in 2003 and loved it. I would like to arrange it again but was unsure if that still was done or not, and I have no idea who to contact. The gal who arranged our tour then is no longer with our chapter, and the person at ZKC who gave us the tour is no longer there. Any information on the feasibility of this and where I might go to find contact info. would be appreciated! If it doesn't work out, perhaps I'll get us up in a Class D tower, I think even that would help the ladies who don't fly, especially in controlled airspace, often. TIA. Sarah

Heck, I got this off google: ZKC ARTCC TELEPHONE 913-254-8500 Give 'em a call, and tell 'em what ya want. I'm very confident that they are fully staffed with management personel who can chit chat all day. Tony

I googled about everything but a phone number for them and came up empty-handed. Sometimes that which is obvious can be the most elusive...must've been having one of those days. Thanks.

| Last I heard (about a year ago), ZLC ARTCC was still not open for tours. The TRACON is, however.

I happen to work at ZKC and yes they are doing tours. I believe that you need atleast 48 hours advance notice, and they will need everyones SSN, DOB, and city of residence. 913-254-8500, is the correct number to get ahold of the Operations Supervisor.
