Default Flomax

A doctor has prescribed Flomax in an effort to alleviate some testicular pain. Apparently there is some evidence that "relaxing" the prostate may help with chronic pain.

A web site http://www.leftseat.com/medcat1.htm says the FAA will approve this drug for flying on a case by case basis. Does that mean my AME can approve the drug for my use or does this have to go through Oklahoma City? Or does it mean I can try it and self approve?

Thanks, and have a nice 4th.

Default Re: Flomax

You just need to report it at your next physical. The AME can approve it.
