| Junior Member | Hello, I just had Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) , and I was wondering how this will affect me for my next FAA pilot medical. Also I may be going for a ATC FAA medical soon as well. Any advice on how to put it down on paper, and what to do/say? Also, how long do you recommend I stay away from flying after a surgery like this? I had the surgery because of Chronic Sinusitis and deviated septum. Thanks so much. |

| Once the surgeon clears you to fly, you should be OK. Just report it on your next medical. |
