Default FESS

Hello, I just had Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) , and I was wondering how this will affect me for my next FAA pilot medical. Also I may be going for a ATC FAA medical soon as well. Any advice on how to put it down on paper, and what to do/say?

Also, how long do you recommend I stay away from flying after a surgery like this? I had the surgery because of Chronic Sinusitis and deviated septum.

Thanks so much.

Once the surgeon clears you to fly, you should be OK.

Just report it on your next medical.
