So I wear contacts and after sleeping with them on for a night I developed a bad eye infection. Went to the ophthalmologist and got pescribed "TobaDrex". Glad I had insurance otherwise those eye drops would have cost me $80. Anyways, the point of this thread was that when I put these drops on, I can taste them in my throat. How are the eyes linked up to that? |

The tear ducts connect to the nose and the drops migrate down the back of the throat onto the tongue. Simple anatomy |

Is that like when the doctor sticks the flashlight thingy in your ear he's looking to see if the light's reflecting off the opposite wall? |
