| I am curious about how my weight will affect my chances of becoming an ATC? I am a big guy, standing at 6'2" I was 330 lbs now. I have already lost 20 lbs, and am eating healthy now, and working out 5 days a week in order to drop down to around 220 hopefully. However I have just submitted my location prefs and such, as have several others, and know I obviously won't be down to that weight by the time it all comes to pass. Will this ruin my chances? Will the fact that I am actively working on it have any weight (pardon the pun)? I have read about year extensions and stuff as well. Thanks in advance!! |

| It will probably not be a problem. The standard states "the applicant must possess such a body build as to not interfere with sitting in an ordinary office armchair" ![]() |
