| Junior Member | Doc, Would it be disqualifying to be put on allergy shots? I am currently taking Allegra and have tried Claritin but they aren't working. The allergies aren't incapacitating it just keeps me from being able to breath through my nose and I sneeze and have watery eyes. Please keep in mind this is an ATC asking, I know the rules are somewhat different from being a pilot. TB ![]()

| I do not know the answer for ATC personnel. I did look in the Therapeutic Guidelines for Air Traffic Control Specialists and do not see a refernce to desensitization there. You should ask the Regional Flight Surgeon's office. |
