Default FAA Medical Exam

Hey, I just got a denial letter from the FAA Medical office. They said they could not approve me because of my PRN use of Zyrtec for mild allergies. It would not bother me at all to completely stop taking it. They said if i could show proof from a doctor that i am not taking it anymore and have been symptom free for 7-14 days, the would "give my application further consideration". Does this mean if I can show this proof, they will give me my class II student medical certificate i was wanting? Or is it just polite for there is no chance? What do you think flight surgeon?

Default Re: FAA Medical Exam

You just need to provide the documentation (a letter from your doc) to them and they will issue you a certificate.
