MyFlightSurgeon: The decision to issue my 1st Class was deferred to Oklahoma City. I initially took the physical portion in early October 2007, the psychological eval in Dec '07; and the psychiatric eval in January '08. I called today to check the status and was told it is in "typing". What on earth does that mean? She was not able to tell be whether or not if it was issued. She said that I would be hearing from the FAA any day now. Please explain. atp

It is in the office where they generate the letters to airmen about their special issuance status. If it is there. you will probably hear within the next 10 days or so.

Just re-read your response. If they're "generating a letter", then that can't be good news. Not being pesimisstic, just keepin' it real. atp

It could be either way. They generate letters for all decisions and give none out over the phone. |

It was my NCIC report. Came clean from the giddyup. 1994 - Bad check - Restitution paid; charges dropped by State Attorney 2000 - Bad check - convicted; restitution paid (misdameaner) 2003 - Obstruction & Battery charge - dropped by State Attorney(*) 2005 - Felony Burglary - dropped by State Attorney(*) The thing about the burgulary charge is that I had permission to be in the house from the owner. Showed my ID and Voter Registration; not to mention my divorce papers were served to me there and my tax papers (W-2's) came to the house as well. Presented all this info to the officer and I still was arrested and charged with bugulary. Spent 61 days in jail behind that b....hit. ![]() I have much respect for Law Enforcement, however for some of the "Richard Craniums" that are on the Ft. Pierce Police Department...."If a Ft Pierce police officer punches a 15 year old girl with all his might b/c she bit him...well...guess where that leaves me!!!! ![]() (*) 3 dropped charges all in Ft Pierce, FL atp
