Default Astigmatism

Hi
I was diagnosed to have an astigmatism today.
I never had any problems with my eyes before and I have perfect vision with no color blindness.
Would this affect my career as an airline pilot?

No it will not. It is correctable with refraction (glasses).

It just means my left contact (toric) is more annoying than my right.

Astogmatism is correctable with LASIK I believe.
