Default Kidney Stones

I had a kidney stone about 4 years ago and after a few hours of severe discomfort, passed the stone uneventfully. On my last medical I answered yes on the questionnaire. As a result I had to have an x-ray before I could get my medical to show I didn't have another one ready to come out. The AME is now familiar with my history. My question is, do I have to get another x-ray every time I renew my medical form now on? Also since I now live a considerable distance from this Doctor, is it worth it for me to make the long trek to use this same AME since he's familiar with my situation or would using a local AME be just as good?

I thank you in advance for your reply Doc.

Default Re: Kidney Stones

No, you do not need another X-ray as long as you do not have another stone

No, just write previously reported, no change in box 18 and the AME will ask you about it so he can put a comment in Box 60
