I renewed my first class medical this morning. When I returned home this evening I pulled out my medical and noticed that the weight was 100 lbs off. is says 110 and my actuall weight is 210. I then looked at the copy of the completed FAA form that the office gave my and sure enough the nurse wrote down 110 for the weight. When they had me look over the medical I was careful while looking at the name and address but I must have glanced over the weight. Do I need to contact the FAA for a change? or can the DR office make the change tomorrow? I am guessing that they had already sent the form via internet to the FAA. Do I even need to make a change since it is only my weight that is wrong? Thanks for everything you do on the forum. You are a great asset. |

I'd wait to get ramp checked, and watch the inspector do a double take. ![]() ![]() Inspector looks at medical. Looks at you. Looks back at medical. Back at you. Inspector then asks if the other 100 lbs. is in the baggage compartment.

Dr can change it tomoorw but he should also call AMCS to have them change it in the computer too.
