| I have a question regarding my vision. On my contact case my prescription reads -2.00. What does this translate to on the 20/20 scale? Thanks! |

| Senior Member | I am no doctor but that is your refractive error. It just is how much the contacts have to correct to achieve perfect vision(20/20). You could have -6.00 or +3.5, etc... and still have perfect vision. |

| I'm trying to find out how bad my vision is to see if I would even fit under the minimum req. for the military. If I need -2.00 refractive error contacts, then what is my vision uncorrected on the 20/20 scale? Does that make more sense? |

| Your last eye visit should have that. Just ask for a copy of your records. It is probably about 20/200 but don't hold me to that. |
