Default Pulled my quad...

Wondering if there's anything better than ice and rest to heal it...

I hurt it sprinting... I'm a runner and I read on the web that usually it's a factor of the hamstring being stronger than the quad so that when the quad is actually required (as it apparently is in sprinting), it causes a strain. True?

Default Re: Pulled my quad...

Ice it for 3 days. Bleeding into the quad can cause permanent scarring.

Actually, the quad is stronger than the hamstring in most people.
