| There is not a formal list. For a list of medications that have been approved ona case-by-case basis in the past, you can look on http://www.leftseat.com or http://www.aviationmedicine.com. Be aware that it is not only the medication but the reason you are taking it as well as the dosage. For example, if you take metoprolol for high blood pressure that is OK but if you take it to control a heart rhythm or to treat migraine headaches that may not be OK. It is not all black and white. |

| That is usually best. Remember that 85% of AME's perform fewer than 15 exams a year and may either not be up on what is allowed or do not want to take the time to find out the answer for you. | also go to AOPA's website- they tend to keep an up to date list of approved/non approved meds |
