| Doc, have you ever heard of using cymbalta for chronic back pain? My primary care has been overseeing my back pain for years and wants to put me on this med. I have seen the commercials and I guess it is used primarily as a anti depressant! What would the FAA think of this? Any impact on my medical. Thanks

| Considering the class of drugs, they will say NO to flying on Cymbalta. ![]() |

| I had years of chronic lower back pain. I got on a serious stretching regimen. Holding each stretch 30 seconds timed. In 15 minutes I am sweating and my back problems have gone away. -Jason |

| Pain that is in the back is best treated with NSAID's and mechanical measures such as manipulation and physical therapy. The problem with back surgery is that it does cure everything - been there, done that (twice) ![]() |
