Default Medical Application

If something has been reported in the past, i.e explained unconsciousness, it DOES NOT have to be reported again, right?

doing a new medical on monday and i can't remember the rules on that

-Why is it when two planes almost hit each other it is called a near miss? Shouldn't it be called a near hit?

WRONG!! You report it and in the explanation block write "previously reported, no change". The easy way to handle all of this now is to log onto
https://medxpress.faa.gov and complete the 8500 on-line. The information will then be stored and you will not have to remember dates, etc next physical. The system is now available in all FAA regions for use. We have been using it here in the west for several months and it is really nice.

now if i went to the doctor because i was sick does that have to be reported? i think i went a few times over the last 3 years, but i have no ideas of when or who is saw exactly

Yes. The only visits that do not have to be reported are flight physicals, routine health physicals, routine dental and eye appointments.
