What is Diabetes Insipidus and is it disqualifying for all classes of medical?

Here is a link from my website that nicely explains diabetes insipidus. http://forred.familydoctors.net/hand...embersite.html You must submit all medical records and a list of medications with any side effects to the FAA. The decision on a medical certificate is made by them. This would be a Special Issuance case. |

Yes but it is up to the FAA in OKC. That is why you will need to send them the records. Also, they will not act on the request unless there is an application for a medical certificate pending. So you need to take the First Class medical and the AME will defer it. Send the documentation to OKC with the 800-8 and wait for their answer.
